Stove top is beautiful and works well easy to clean. Oven does not heat to set temperature as it indicates with a beep. Then oven heats up to 40 degrees over set temp before element stops heating. Once temp hits about 25 degrees under set temp element comes back on. This is ok for roasting but cars will not rise properly and may be raw in the center and burn on outside. I am very unhappy. Service man came and said all the newer ovens work that way. No more baking.

My range is 15 months old the numbers on the knobs is already wearing off. Also if you lean against the stove the dials are so sensitive that they change to the highest setting. This is an accident waiting to happen. I emailed the president of the company not even a response. Would not buy LG again.

We absolutely love our new LG convection oven Obviously it looks amazing in our new kitchen remodel but it also has really improved the health of our home. We have family members with asthma. In our old oven we would need to cook an item for an hour and the direct heat would burn edges cause smoke that you didnt always see but could feel. How unhealthy This new oven cooks at mach speed no burning. And it encourages healthy cooking too So this oven pleases all the senses and keeps your family healthy and safe Thank you LG

Not suitable for families with young children

Ive had this range for several years and already reviewed about how easily the knobs on the front turn the burners on. I have done it several times reaching to the back burner and then turning around to go to my sink....resulting in an off burner turning on without knowing it. Ive had 2 small fires and my adult son had it happen to him while cooking in our house realizing what Ive been saying about it.

Oven heats quick rear of unit needs space

Top burner failed after three uses however service was quick and found a pinched wire that caused the main PCB to burn out all fixed in one visit. only complaint is that rear of Oven required a rear wall gap to vent by virtue of a bracket which in turn pushed unit out in front of our kitchen cabinets which was unexpected 2.5 inches. Using the top oven to cook and bottom for storage of various oven trays top heats fast maybe 5 minutes to full 400+. Nice finish in oven makes for super easy to clean up with wet paper towel alone.

Why have they not fixed burner knobs?

We shouldve listened to others about how easy it is to accidentally turn burner on by just bumping the knobs. Weve had the oven 2 weeks and have accidentally turned on burner by reaching over oven to cabinet above. How is this still an issue and not fixed so this cant happen. My wife was putting groceries away she bumped the knob without knowing and burner came on burning her clothes. Way to go LG by not fixing the issue with maybe knobs with a safety feature.

Dont buy. You boil over water once and youll never get the top clean. Weve tried several stove top cleaners with no luck. Now the black paint is chipping on the left and right sides of the glass? 14 months old and LG wont help. Cooks pizza very unevenly also.

I received a appliance with no model or serial number and was told my new appliance was refubished or a floor model because factory did not install a model and serial number tag on it. So I cant wven get a waranty service call owned unit for 6 months bought new trom Home depot. 3 weeks and my range is still not fixed. Dear factory please install a tag on each of your units so noone has thisnproblem like we do.

The ovens dont work.

We have had this range for a year a half. We had a technician out to replace a board shortly after we bought it because the ovens cooked too hot uneven. After a second visit they still cook too hot uneven. Nothing that I bake turns like like it should. I think we have a lemon. I would like the range replaced. Please advise. Thank you.

The high powered burner is great- the regular powered ones leave something to be desired if I could I would return it for a gas range or one with two high powered burners. If you cook a lot like I do- the double oven is great- but you need at least two burners that can bring things to a boil quickly overall I rate this a low 4 out of 5

My dog turned the burners on and almost got us kil

My dog was going for something on the stove top and managed to turn on three out of the five burners. It ignited some cardboard nearby and we woke up at 2am to a giant fire on the stovetop. If we didnt have smoke detectors the range our kitchen and probably our house wouldve been ruined. This range is NOT safe for houses with dogs or probably children. The handles are way too easy to turn. Besides the fire the top oven has definitely hot/cold spots so much so that I have to turn my items halfway through cooking. The bottom oven is the opposite and I usually have to subtract 2-5 minutes from cook time.

I just received the new range as a birthday present for myself and its a great addition to my kitchen. It gives the kitchen an updated look without spending a fortune. I like the turbo heat option and the double oven. The oven works great and is very quick to preheat and cook food evenly. My 4-star review is because when your cooking it is something with oil. The top is difficult to clean without scraping it with the potential for scratches

I did not feel good about having the piece of metal that the arc shot off from stay in the stove it was black and the repair man assured me it would be fine???? Then again a second issue the oven just shut completely off. Took several weeks to get it repaired. Not happy at all I wanted a refund and was told that rarely ever happens. Never ever buy LG again

Stove dials are on the front. It is easy access. Double oven is great for cooking items at different temps. This double oven would not work for a person who cannot bend down to the lower oven. Stove locks up if water is spilled or too much steam is detected from boiling. F3 error code. Poor website for registering and create a personal account. I still have not been able to set up my personal account. I finally registered my product after multiple calls.

The stove I didnt know I needed until I got it

We got this range in this spring and we love so many things about it. I love the large capacity of both ovens the variable size choices on the stovetop and the rapid boil feature though I wish it worked for both sizes on that side. My cakes turn out perfect the pizza feature meets the needs of everyone in the house with the varied pizza preferences and wings are always a hit of course. I definitely get my squats in when using the lower oven if Ive got something large and heavy to lift out guess thats good for this senior citizen though. However there are a few concerns and suggestions. 1 The numbers and letters are disappearing on the control knobs - even on the ones I rarely use. 2 The stainless steel front panel and knobs are difficult to clean and get that desired polished look. 3 Be careful about accidentally leaning in and engaging the controls it would have been nice if there was more of an push and turn engagement necessary to turn the stovetop on. Be careful/vigilant if you have youngsters. 4 It would be nice of there was a more specific indicator of which area of the stovetop is still hot after turning the unit off. 5 It would be nice if we could leave the top oven door ajar when broiling toast without the door open alarm going off so we could keep an eye on the progress and avoid burning it BUT... all in all this is a great product. Just needs a few tweaks. I would really like to get some replacement knobs though.

Oven Self Clean function damaged electrical compon

I used the oven self clean function 13 months after purchasing for the 1st time after Thanksgiving and three cooktop elements were damaged. Two infinity switches and one cooktop element were damaged after the four hour self clean process. The warmer element stopped working completely and you could fry hashbrowns on the lowest temperature on the right front element. Service fees and replacement parts totaled 1/2 the cost of the unit. Any other time I would have trashed the appliance and purchased a new one.

Only 1 flaw in the design

I like my double oven stove but the design with the knobs on the front is so sensitive that any little bump will turn the burners on. With children it is extremely dangerous if any thing is left on the top of the stove it will catch on fire. Almost set the house on fire because of it. Bumped it one to many times. Throwing it out now. Needs to put the knobs out of reach of children and hips.

The burners come on very easily if someone bumps into them already have had three items melt or burn due to this faulty design. Double oven is a joke bottom oven has never heated to correct temp cannot bake cakes chicken and takes five times longer to make anything in bottom oven. Have had four repairmen out and no one will replace what is broken. It is under extended warranty which doesnt help if they wont fix it .

Broke after warrenty

I was very happy with my oven until I discovered that the front right burner didnt operate correctly. It seems all of the other burners work fine but the burner on the right front burner will only come on if I turn on another burner first. Oterwise I cannot use it independently.

I bought this stove a year ago and this is absolutely the most dangerous stove Ive ever owned. Many times bushing up against the front Burners which they shouldnt be in front just comes on. If there is anything sitting on the stove it will catch on fire. Ive got things on fire 3 times and Ive got great grandchildren that can just touch the nobs and it comes on. Ive called numerous of times and nobody has yet to come out they have been no help at all. This is a very serious matter and I would hate for someones house to burn down. Please Someone needs to look into this as soon as possible. Also the cleaning feature has never worked. I picked this product for the double oven and I loved the look of it but looks are deceiving.

Worst range ever should be recalled. You barely touch the knobs and it comes on. It has a lockout but if youre using the oven it doesnt lock caught my oven mitt on fire very dangerous

Possible problem with the burner knobs turning on

I have bumped into the knobs when working around the range and the slightest bump can turn the burners on. I have accidently burned items on the stove by simply bumping the knob. I would not recommend this range and hope that LG will install some type of safety short of removing the knobs.

Even baking and spacious interior

This is the second double oven range Ive owned and by far the best one of the two. Each oven is more spacious than my previous range and it works like a dream. This is my first convection oven and I will never go back I baked sugar cookies and the front ones were cooked equally to the rear ones No more having to spin my pan midway through Each oven has a separate timer as well which is extremely convenient. The warming burner has its own temperature knob so you can control how warm youd like your pan to stay. I am completely thrilled with this LG range.

Terrible stove Please read if you actually cook

How in the world does this thing have so many positive reviews? They must be reviewing based on looks yes it looks nice but it sucks if you actually want to cook. I cook at least 2 meals a day and let me tell you I almost threw this thing away. Its unsafe and way too sensitive. Many times while cooking or just waking by we accidentally brush the burners and he stove turns on. This is very dangerous as sometimes no one was cooking but the stove was on Plus the back burners are too small Too small to be useful for anything but a small kettle. The ultra heat burner basically has two modes burn and not cook front left. Front right is a good size but the way this stove heats is it the glass cook too gets hot and then it clicks off and its just a ratio of clicking and Turing off based on which level of heat you are using. This means that heat isnt really regulated and on most settings your either going to burn your food or its not going to cook. I normally cook on low and then remove my pan so things can not burn and cook all the way. For things like pancakes its almost impossible to get right with this heat irregularly. Plus the oven is the same way. My cakes are normally more cooked in the middle than the edges. I will say I like the convection one bottom oven but because theres two its shallow and some like a full size turkey would not fit. This is a terrible stove its very sensitive and heats irregularly and has hot spots in the oven. I love cooking and am not one to complain but I really wanted to warn others. If your going to get this do yourself a favor and get a chair for your smoke alarm and an instant pot to actually cook.

Double LG oven

We bought all new L G appliances. Happy so far but the surface of the glass top developed a small crack. Nothing was dropped on it. LG tells me its a scratch and normal wear and tear. Hard time dealing with customer service to try and get the crack resolved.
