Terrific cooktop that does it all!

We've enjoyed our Bosch Benchmark Induction Cooktop for 3 years. It's been a pleasure to use. It provides fast, even and precise heating no matter what size pan or pot is used. It's controls are intuitive and easy to use. Recently, I dropped a bottle of olive oil and it chipped one side of the cooktop and created a crack in the surface. It still worked perfectly, but we decidded to replace the cooking surface (called the Hob). We were able to order a replacement through one of Bosch's retailers and had it installed earlier this week. We highly recommend this cooktop to anyone looking for an excellent induction product.

I love this cooktop but...

I have only the cooktop for a few weeks but I have already gotten used to cooking on an induction cooktop. The one thing I am very disappointed in is no matter how careful I have been with placing pots on the cooktop I already have scratches. I purchased all new cookware with smooth bottoms and I clean my cooktop daily to keep dust off it AND I am VERY CAREFUL about placing pots on the glass and not sliding them but I already have a couple scratches and for the money I spent on the cooktop I'm kind of disappointed. There is a big part of this product that is the sexiness of having a flat sheet of glass sitting on the countertop and that really looses some lustre seeing scratches, I would expect for the money the glass would hold up better.

When remodeling our kitchen I wanted to put in a gas cooktop. My husband suggested induction and after researching I decided to go with induction. I am so glad I made that choice!! The clean up is amazing! I am learning but so far I am loving cooking with induction. Instant heat without the heat from the burner. Love being able to boil water in just a couple of minutes. Also love the flex feature and the keep warm setting!

Excellent induction cooktop with easy to use controls. Surface is easy to scratch, however, so be careful if using cast iron. Auto-detect function is nice and powerboil is awazing.

Ordered this induction cooktop to replace a 20 year old standard cooktop. It is beautiful. It works great. But the interface could use some collaboratio with Apple. We learn something new about how it works every day. Fortunately, the manual that accompanies it is very through.

Seems like a good product...not sure the product matches the price. The illumination is not good. There is some fairly audible buzzing during use which I don't recall on the Thermador unit. It works well and have had no problems yet. Will see how it holds up.

Our Induction Cooktop is not producing the same heat in all zones, sometimes make electrical humming noise, and is difficult to clean. Service has visited and ordered parts several weeks ago - they have not yet returned.

I was traded up to the 36" model by circumstances. It's attractive, relatively easy to clean, easy to learn the basics. But sales, installation and service all assured me a 30amp circuit was sufficient, but the manual says 50 amp. The buzz takes getting used to. The bridging functions are great, if not necessary given the responsiveness of the technology. And some "how-tos" are less than obvious to find. All in all though, if the circuitry holds up it will be very good to have as a cooktop

Our 36" Benchmark cooktop is 3 years old. Zero problems. We love the quick warm up of pans, the fact that surrounding cooktop adjacent to an active unit remains cool, the ability to set a simmer temperature and know it will not change indefinitely, the fact that our kitchen does not get warm while cooking multiple pans plus it is super easy to clean and looks attractive in our kitchen

I am totally in love with my new Induction cooktop! With the power boost feature I can boil water faster than the microwave, and the precise temperature controls allow me to easily simmer soups and stews for hours. My largest round skillet fits perfectly in the center "eye" , heating evenly from edge to edge. The surface area accommodates cooking utensils and other items without becoming warm from the cooking area. There are no hot-spots to deal with like conventional electric cooktops, and the surface is easy to clean because spills don't burn! With no greenhouse emissions to worry about, induction is the way to go!!

this is my first induction experience. i found the user manual to not be as useful as it should/could be. the cooktop seems to work pretty good although i still have issues with not really knowing which zone i'm in. i also find the imprinted information on the bottom to be somewhat difficult to read. i'm sure once i start get more used to using it i will hopefully be able to give it a better rating.

The oven itself is great - many safety features and is easy to clean and keep clean. On draw back is that you can not use smaller induction pans even when the flexible surface is used. It simply does not detect it. Also I am not sure how useful the WIFI is on this - there are not many features. Luckiy this is not a major issue for me....

I have only had this cooktop for 4 days, and have only cooked two things (does boiling water count?) but am in LOVE !! It is quiet and super responsive to temperature adjustments, and boils water for my tea in less than 2 minutes! Cleanup is a breeze and it looks beautiful. If I ever do actually cook, I have so much room on the surface it will accomodate every pot/skillet/grill that i own :)

We replaced our 6 burner gas range top with a 36" Bosch induction top after 30 years. There's a lot of learning about power settings for various pans, but it is so responsive when we need less or more power. We can actually have more going on at one time than our older and bigger gas range. And we love being able to put parchment paper under a frying pan to make cleanup super easy, besides having a handy place to leave a spoon or spatula, or even additional ingredients waiting to be added. We do wish there were more YouTubes or a class offered to pick up more tips, but we are having fun, while making notes on recipes about power levels to save time the next occasion we use a recipe.

We have had our 36" Benchmark flex cooktop for two years. Love everything about it. Very quick warm up of cookware. Exquisite temperature control. Love being able to put newspaper around cookware when frying to catch oil spatters. Does not heat the kitchen even when using all units. Very easy to clean. No scratches despite using a cast steel pan.
