This room a/c is quiet, and keep the bedroom cool. I love the WiFi app. I can keep the temp set higher all day, and then when ready, adjust the settings for bedtime. This is the first a/c I've had with internet access. I love it!!

A lot quieter than any window unit I've had in the past. I like that the lights turn off after a bit too. If you have storm windows you may have to get a 2x4 to install on the sill but after that it's pretty easy. Used it for a few days so far and works well. Sometimes on the highest setting the fan rattles a bit but nothing too crazy.

I saw this air conditioner when I was out shopping. Wasn't looking for an air conditioner, but when I saw on the box that it said "ultra quiet" I looked it up on the internet. Read some good reviews so I bought it. It definitely is very quiet, for sure. Very pleased with my purchase. The remote control is nice and what I use for it. Haven't even bothered to download the phone app, so I can't comment on that.

I redesigned my bedroom and mounted my TV on the wall that's shared with my son's room. After I did I realized I had to play my television much louder to drown out the sound of my AC in the window. I was concerned that me having to play the tv loud was going to keep my son up at night (God forbid that). So I looked for something quiet and came across this bad boy. It's super easy to install and runs about as loud as my refrigerator. It's unbelievably quiet! A normal conversation is about 60 decibels. I get readings of 35-40 decibels standing 3 feet away. The voice control can use a little work but that's not a make or break issue for me. I can control the unit with both the remote and the app instead. 1 really nice feature on the app is that it tells you in real time your power usage as well as shows charts of your average use. Kudos to GE! You guys put out a really good product.

Prep and install was easy. Looks good installed. I didn't setup the wifi as I really have no need for it. Seems to be working well but I do wish the air flow was more adjustable as it only has two way adjustment, only up and down no side to side.

This is our first purchase of the GE Profile ac unit 6150btu. We are completely satisfied with our purchase. Installing the ac unit was simple into our bedroom window. After finishing the install, turned it on and the ac cooled our room which is about 175 sqft in under 10 minutes. WiFi was a bit of a challenge to sign up but I was able to do it. Might be complicated for others but just keep trying. Using the ac through the app is a breeze as it shows all information, temperature, filter change, service and changing any settings in the app is simple to change. Glad to make this purchase. Thank you GE

We wanted a QUIET A/C for the bedroom and, after reading the specs and reviews of quite a few models made by GE (as well as other manufacturers) settled on the GE Profile Series - PHCO6LY. No regrets! The unit is super-quiet, even on the highest fan setting . . . and almost impossible to hear when in "Quiet" mode. (And - yes - the first time we used the A/C we left the room for a few minutes and, upon returning, thought the A/C had malfunctioned and turned itself off. Now that's quiet!) The 6150 BTU unit costs a bit more than A/Cs from other manufacturers . . . but worth every penny. Over the years we've owned A/Cs made by other companies; the GE is definitely better-made, sturdier . . . and (for an A/C!) not at all bad looking.

First the good: it's attractive (although larger than average), has nice features and I like the wifi interface. It's expensive for what it is: the "quiet" mode is quiet until the compressor kicks on, then it's about as loud as my old AC. The most annoying thing is the vibrations coming from the adjustable front vent - one after another. I have pieces of folded up cardboard in between the openings in 6 different places to stop the vibrations that keep me awake at night.

Purchased for a very small office room. I don't have to turn off when on zoom meetings. I wish all my window units were this quiet. Only down side is the bump on bottom of unit. It didn't want to sit on bracket so there was some adjusting to make it work.

Delivery and packaging were on time and well-done. Installation was a little tricky with the balance and tilt for managed after careful thought. The AC cooled 100 sq. ft in 1/2 hr. The temp outside was 95. If needed, includes a De-Humidifier. The wi-fi was convenient and registration was simple. The noise level was low. All in all a very very good product.
