It's very good gas range, oven and broiler take a long time to light the burner ( more than a minute ), I did ask the technician at GE repair and he said this appliance do not have the option to add " glass cover and wire cover holder " to the oven light ?! but I read the owner's manual / Maintenance / oven light, there is a part like that, Unfortunately, my gas range missing those parts when I received it from delivery.

Very disappointed no broiler pan with it. Also I thought the broiler draw pulled out. And it get so very hot under the control panel when oven is on. Last but not least, the light doesn't automatically come on when you open the oven door. Wish I would have known.

Stove has 4 different sizes of burners which makes it nice for various pan sizes. Griddle in middle is nice for eggs, pancakes and grilled sandwiches. Grilling meats though does distribute grease to rest of stove. Display panel with bold black print looks generic on a white stove. A dark gray may have been more appealing. Steam cleaning function is pointless.

Griddle is a great feature

The middle 5th burner is a great feature. Great for eggs, grilled sandwiches, pancakes, etc. Doing meat on the griddle gets the rest of the stove greasy, so will probably stick to a pan. Burner grates are cast iron and all one piece on each side. Nice flame with even heat. Steam cleaning function is kind of pointless. Thought the water would evaporate, but at the end it remains at bottom of stove and you have to sponge it out for clean up. The black print on the control panel/clock/timer is very stark on white. Looks generic.

Scrap Metal Out Of The Box!

I installed this yesterday after following the included instructions, as soon as I plugged it in all of the range top igniters started clicking, the knobs were in the off position. Now I cannot even cook with the new stove because I am afraid there is an electrical issue The only way to stop the clicking is to unplug it.

So far I'm satisfied with this range. I have some issues setting the timer for the oven. I did not receive an owners manual with this product. The burner covers seem a little high to me and I'm not a fan of the different size burners but I'm getting used to using them. All in all I think it's a good buy and hope I'm not disappointed in the future.

I like the stove ok. I bought it because of the griddle top, which is great!! There are a couple things to beware of, that I didn't know prior to purchase. First the oven puts of an unnatural amount of heat from the vent under the controls, which I can adjust to. However, what I thought was a warming drawer is actually the broiler, I don't know who designed it that way but it is just plain stupid!!! I'm only 5'1" and literally have to get on my hands and knees to pull extremely hot food out and try to set it on top the stove without burning myself. All that to say I wouldn't have bought it had I known, but if you don't use the broiler, then this is a great stove! Oh, and the steam function is a joke too!

HATE THE BROILER DRAWER!!!

I'm in my 70's and purchased this never thinking the broil would be at the bottom! It is hard for me to bend over or sit on the floor. I did use this but getting the rack out with a steak on a broiler pan out was hard and it fell out...fortunately I had a carpet piece down or my floor would have had burn marks. Is there anything that can improve this, like side out shelf or wood hooktype device to move shelf? I love broiling certain things but can not do it anymore. Sad.

Loving the center flat top. The heat seems to be accurate while baking, even if it wasn't it is adjustable.
