We wanted a fridge with the freezer on the bottom. I Love It!! The design is really functional, so much space and the drawers open/close smoothly. The interior water dispenser and ice maker I highly prefer over having it external. This appliance has the French doors that open independently and that's been a huge plus! If the doors are left open too long (or ajar) an alarm sounds - this is great for households with young kids.

I canceled another order and waited 2 months for this refrigerator because of the features. I purchased the white color because my kitchen has white cabinets and it matches my GE microwave perfectly! It really looks classy. I like the split shelfing system (though you can't stagger them) and the quick space shelf that allows me to put tall items in. We actually have the shelf retracted at all times with milk & juice in front, yet still have that short shelf in the back for can drinks, big food jars, etc. I like having the option to dispense cold water when needed even though we drink room temperature water most of the time. I only wish it was a one hand operation. It would've been nice to push in with your glass to dispense and let go when you want it to stop. With this model, you have to use one hand to hold the glass and the other hold the button down to dispense until you want it to stop. This design to me is a bit dated. Good thing we don't use it often enough to be a problem. I also purchased this model because of the ice maker which my other fairly new fridge didn't have when we moved into this new house. After receiving the fridge, I realized how much space that took away from the freezer storage space. We were limited with the size of the fridge because the space only allowed for a fridge that was 33" wide. The freezer deffinitely could be designed better. I've already found some small things that fell out and got underneath the fridge a few days later because there are wide hollow spaces around the outside of the freezer bin. Those are lost spaces that could be used as freezer spaces. I didn't understand why this fridge was 2" deeper than others with the same width and cf. I'm 5' tall and my arms can only reach so far back on the top shelf. We had the space to compensate the depth, so overall it was a good decision for what we needed and what we can afford. We've only had this fridge for a month and a half and so far no problems with performance.

Noisy And Freezer Handle Falls Off Regularly

I'd really like to give this a better rating but we have been very unhappy with this appliance. It is very noisy and cooling has being difficult to maintain. Now the freezer handle falls off on a weekly basis. I can't imagine how hard it is to make a handle that stays on. I really can not recommend this refrigerator due to the problems we've experienced with it. We were really hoping for better.

This is a big upgrade to our old side by side. There is a lot more room and everything is very easy to get to. The LED lighting is great! The downsides thus far? The interior water dispenser is kind of a waste of time. It dispenses very slow so you might as well use your faucet!! Additionally there is a good bit of noise from the compressor (?). Sometimes there is none at all but most of the time there is a constant hum. I believe others have mentioned this as well. It is a minor annoyance to me but I can understand how it would be a major annoyance to others. Time will tell what my ultimate recommendation would be but for now, it is ok for the price.

I bought this refrigerator for its versatility of food storage. You can change the arrangement of shelves to store different heights of containers. Very roomy with a nice depth too. I absolutely love , what I call the chef's drawer. The long drawer beneath the crisper drawers. The bottom freezer is roomy and makes it easy to organize your frozen foods. Love the split shelf

Just delivered and the refrigerator fit like a glove. Being able to place a gallon a milk on the door shelf and stand a bottle of soda on a regular shelf is a bonus. No more laying bottles on their side and leaking out. Great Job on design GE.

Very nice upgrade over our replaced side by side.

There is so much useable space. Upgraded from 22 cubic feet. Much larger ice capacity and water dispenser inside is no problem. Cleaner look than water and ice dispenser on door.

Love my new refrigerator. The internal water dispenser is my favorite feature. The light in this refrigerator is so much brighter, than in my old refrigerator. So nice to now have an ice maker.
