We bought this unit to replace a Frigidaire AC we installed when we first put on a new 35' X 17' "Great Room" addition 35 years ago. We were thrilled at the time to find that the unit cooled the entire first floor of our split level house. When the old unit finally gave up the ghost, we knew we had to get another Frigidaire. The new unit cools the first floor beautifully and more efficiently, so we could not be happier.

My first Frigidaire lasted almost 20 years. I replaced it with this newer model when it started to act up. I love the wifi feature as well as the 7 day programable timer and it's much quieter than the old one. I have it in the family and while watching TV if the AC unit turns on it doesn't interfere with the volume on the TV, with my old AC unit I had to constantly turn the TV volume up and down as the AC turned on and off.

This AC unit replaces another Frigidaire unit that I had that unfortunately went, but it was over 10 years old. This new unit that I got was easy to install. Just pulled out the old one and slid this new unit right into the sleeve. I plugged it in and pulled out the remote and was good to go. The whole process took less than a half hour tops. I am over the top happy with this unit. I can have the temp. slightly cool or meat locker status. This was a great purchase and Frigidaire is reliable as always as far as quality.

The installation into my window was smooth with just a couple minor adjustments to be made.The unit is cooling approximately 650 sqft without any difficulty. Especially in afternoon middle of the heat where temperature is pushing 100 degrees.I do like the app and use quite often to adjust cooling temp from 76 to 72 degrees and back. Have not used the scheduler yetOverall I give this unit 4 out of 5 star review

Very Satisfied. It is a lot more quieter than my previous AC unit and is working real well. I didn't think that I would use the WiFi connect option but I do find it helpful, I can run the unit in ECO mode during the day and then before I get home I can switch it to COOL so the house cools to our comfortable temperature.

The first unit was installed and developed a clanking sound within just weeks. The repair company said it had to be replaced, which it was. The new "upgraded" a/c was the same unit with WiFi compatability. First, the WiFi link refuses to work. I meet all the requirements for proper functioning, but it refuses to link. The tech department cannot seem to solve the problem, which is no surprise considering that the app is panned by everyone. I've just given up on that "feature."The control panel is absurd. As an "energy saving" feature, the panel goes dark after 30 seconds or so. If the unit shuts down in eco mode, you have no way of knowing if it is on. No led indicator, no temp readout ... Nothing! So if you look at it, it appears to be off -- but isn't! If you go out for the day, it might run the whole time. But if you'd like to check on your phone? Forget it...it's not connected!The remote control is flimsy and cheap.It cools fine -- but I would caution you to steer clear of this product.
