I bought this about a month ago. It is not a lightweight. The burners are heavy duty. The oven rack bars are spaced correctly and not flimsy which you find on some brands and models. It works well and the price was right!

A very nice gas range

I replaced a 36 year old Roper gas range with this Amana gas range. I could not match the almond color of the Roper, or the other appliances in the kitchen, so I settled with white. The oven heats evenly and accurately. I love the heat preset feature and no more guesswork if the oven is at the right temperature. I am very happy with the Amana gas range. I only wish they offered more colors, such as almond.

We got out new stove 10 days before Thanksgiving and i was a little nervous since we do Thanksgiving dinner here and I wasn't familiar with the stove. Well it was great. We baked 3 pies to begin with and loved that oven heats quickly. Then there was homemade cranberry sauce, stuffing, rice pudding, and then the Turkey, it was the best one ever and I have been doing Thanksgiving for 53 years.

I purchased a few weeks ago. The only problem is getting gused to the heat in the oven. It does not seem to be as hot as my previous one. I find I have to raise the temp 25 degrees for baking compared with my old one.

Only have it two weeks, having hard time getting used to it. Timer too quiet. Wish I had one of the small burners in the front. Storage draw is so low, glad I don't have to use it often. Never had to rotate cakes and cookies before, now I have to, browns more in back. Will see how the turkey turns out. Certainly was more than pleased with the delivery and installment people and the sales person. It'll take a while and my kinks will resolve.

I have had this range for a week now. I am very happy with it. Only thing I miss with it is having a broiler pan with it. If I had known it did not have one I would have kept the one from my old gas range.

I don't like frills, so I just wanted a functional range with a self-cleaning option. This is it. I'm thankful to not have so many bells and whistles and buttons that I can't figure out how to bake a pan of brownies. :-) There are some temperature pre-set buttons that are a nice convenience, but aside from that it's a very simple, basic, attractive, functional range. It's everything I wanted and nothing more, which is perfect!

I Love This Gas Range!

After 14 years, our kitchen was due for a new gas range. I just did not expect to see all the wonderful features this gas range provided. 1) Three different size burners. Two large in front, one medium left rear and one small right rear. 2) Each burner turns on full from the start with the ignitor engaging immediately. Then further rotation diminishes the flame, rather than the old standard of rotating it from low to full in order to ignite, as in our old range. 3) The burner orifices produce a much hotter flame than our old range did when it was new. 4) The igniter spark terminals are recessed within the burners underneath the removable heat distribution shields over each burner. 5) The burner grills are made of well enameled composite granular metal to minimize slippage of cookware and distribute heat evenly to the bottom of the cookware. 6) The oven controls function electronically from the back panel rather than having a separate front knob. 7) The oven controls have convenient preset temperatures which can be adjusted on-the-fly. 8) The oven also has a timed function, if its use is desired. 9) The oven burner is on top of the oven chamber and heat is circulated by convection. 10) The oven has five rack positions for better baking choices. Our old range had only three. 11) Broiling is achieved by placing a broiler tray on the topmost or lower rack positions.which allow for larger items to be broiled. 12) A convenient cookware storage drawer at the very bottom where the old ranges had their broiler chambers. 13) Easy clean large surface area from the top of the back panel down to the front lip above the control knobs with no joints within which to trap cooking spatter.

This replaced a 25 year old oven/stove. It's awesome for us. Works great so far, surface and burners are nice. Oven bakes good . The oven window is bigger than what we were used too, it's nice. Pre Heat is really nice. Haven't used the self clean yet. And the best of all - Its Made In America!

I bought this range to replace a 20 year old GE range. The price was pretty decent for the product. My only dig would be that once the oven timer reaches zero, you only get one warning tone. My old range would beep until you stopped the timer. That was convenient if you weren't near by.
